hmm..this just made me remember this:"Mujhko jinhone qatl kiya hai koi unhe batlaye 'Nazir'Meri laash ke pehlu mein ve apna khanjar bhool gaye..."(shayar: Nazir Baqari)Urdu poetry has an eloquence no other genre can match, nahin?
Ani:Thanks...Sanyukta: Haan na! It is hard to believe that this language came about as a result of Soldiers in Mughal Army interacting with local Sanskrit speaking population, in a Military base of those days....
